Reptiles

Reptiles are a regular part of our veterinary work.

Some reptiles come for routine health checks and parasite treatments (yes parasites are very common in many reptiles!). We also see sick reptiles, commonly for respiratory and reproductive problems.

We have a digital x-ray machine and also a ventilator which is vital when we have to anaesthetise your pet for longer surgical procedures. We have a range of vivariums and terrapin tanks for your pet and the nurses are very familiar with the supportive care our patients require. We frequently admit anorexic reptiles at the owners request to try and get them to start feeding again.
